The purpose of Friends of Chaco is two-fold
 
  1. • Support and assist Chaco Culture NHP in preserving and protecting the Park’s resources
 
  1. • Contribute to research, interpretation and enjoyment of Chaco Culture NHP
Our goals and programs for 2008
 
  1. • Raise funds by selling the Friends of Chaco Centennial Pendleton Blanket at the Park Visitor Center and on our web site. Click HERE for a photo of the blanket and an order form.
 
  1. • Provide additional support for the volunteer program upon which the Park so heavily depends.
 
  1. • Construct an entrance sign at the south entrance (Rt. 57) similar to the sign welcoming visitors at the north entrance.
 
  1. •Contribute funds to the purchase of environmentally friendly vehicles to support park operations.
