The Friends of Chaco limited-edition blanket celebrated the 100th anniversary of Chaco as a protected area.  The blanket, woven by famous blanket manufacturer, Pendleton Mills, measures 64 inches by 80 inches.  It is a blend of 82 percent wool and 18 percent cotton.  The design is inspired by the black-on-white pottery so typical at the height of the Chaco culture a millennium ago. Each limited-edition blanket (only 300 were made) is numbered on a Friends of Chaco patch.

Following the huge popularity of the Chaco Centennial Blanket, the Friends of Chaco will offer for sale in late 2010 another unique Chaco inspired wool blanket. The second in the Chaco blanket series will be manufactured by world renown Pendleton Woolen Mills of Portland, Oregon. Designs for this 2nd limited edition blanket are currently under consideration.
